Project Name : Enterprise Network Design using Cisco Packet Tracer
~ Jan - 03 - 2026
Modern corporate environments heavily rely on robust, secure, and scalable network architectures to ensure uninterrupted data flow across various organizational tiers. This final year project presents the comprehensive design and simulation of a multi-floor, multi-department enterprise network using Cisco Packet Tracer. The primary goal is to architect a high-performance network environment that mirrors a realistic corporate infrastructure, bridging physical distances and distinct departmental boundaries seamlessly.
Design an Enterprise Network on Cisco Packet Tracer
Connect separated floors & departments
Implement multiple routing protocols
Ensure scalability, security, and efficient communication
Inter-branch connectivity
VLAN segmentation
Dynamic routing
Centralized services
Security Measures
• VLAN isolation
• Controlled server access
• Access Control List ( ACL )
• Routing protocol separation
Network Management
• Hierarchical design
• Easy fault isolation
• Department-wise monitoring
Scalability
New Department can be added
New VLANs can be created easily
Open the file and run on Cisco Packet tracer
Building this project was an insightful and rewarding experience. It not only deepened my understanding of real-world Networking but also allowed me to explore more routing protocols and how enterprise org work. Integrating different routing protocols brought both technical and ethical satisfaction. The project challenged me to blend Routing logic with Networking design, resulting in a secure, interactive, and educational tool.
